A Review of this book from a reader:

Degrelle was something of a prodigy. By the age of 20 he had written five books and by 25 had a doctorate in law and his own newspaper. After Germany had overrun his country, Belgium, he joined the German army and rose from a lowly rank to that of a Major General of a Waffen SS division.

What sets this book apart is the impressive breadth of sources, almost exclusively from the writings of the main protagonists, and not, as is so often the case, from secondary sources and other histories. He draws extensively from original French, Belgium, German, Serbian, English, Russian and America writings.

The result is a story of almost 'untellable' history, too honest and daring for mainstream authors. The reader will be sobered by the hypocrisy, malice, duplicity, hatred, rancor, stupidity and baseness of those responsible for World War One and its aftermath.

It is a book that deserves a wider audience, but is currently priced (on all other book sellers) to make that impossible...
