Here is a 9 minute film showing how a German Sturmgeschütz Panzer known as a StuG III assault gun used in battle on the Russian front, was pulled upside down from a bog. This StuG would probably have been bogged while maneuvering in battle and then abandoned with the Russian troops advancing. The white paint work would suggest that it was bogged during the winter campaign.

The images are a working replica StuG that attends WW2 shows in the UK. Pictures show the crew of re-enactors from 9th SS-Hohenstaufen in September 2017 at Operation Bosworth weekend.
